In connection with the re-accreditation and cross-accreditation of Advanced Level training courses on the basis of the new CTAL syllabus, there have been some misunderstandings in the last few days which lead to some incorrect information and some information not being published on the GTB website. This was corrected straight away.

The problem was caused by different interpretations of the effectiveness of accreditations and the related timings. The GTB thanks Mr. José Díaz explicitly for pointing this out and apologises for any irritations this may have caused.

This issue will be discussed in detail at the GTB general meeting on May 29, 2009 with the objective to agree measures which will ensure that occurances of this kind are prevented, which could result in training providers feeling that they have been treated unequally. Please understand that problems of this kind regrettably happen and cannot be avoided completely.
